What to Pack For South America

 

Your big bag stored below is inaccessible for the next 20+ hour trip as you sleep and while away your time from Uruguay to Colombia, Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires. But no one warned you that the air-con is too strong or that your jeans are uncomfortable after long periods of time, nor that you would spill coffee all over your seat. So how best to be prepared?!

 

Travel pillow

Sarong – duvet and pillow and jumper

Jumper

Face wipes

Antiseptic hand gel

Ipod and headphones

Sleeping socks

Comfy trousers (wear before boarding, toilets are small)

Pen and paper (a variety of thoughts can cross your mind in 20 hours)

A bottle of water

Biscuits or sandwiches etc to keep you going between meals and boredom
