Vila Olimpia
Vila Olímpia is a chic, modern, upper-class neighborhood and one of the best residential locations in town. Vila Olímpia is also home to the Brazilian offices of several, large multinational companies. The region is well known for its nightlife district with an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and shopping malls.
Another highlight of the neighborhood is Daslu, a fashion megastore aimed at the luxury market. It is the largest enterprise of its kind in Latin America and one of the largest in the world.
If shopping isn’t your thing, take a stroll around Ibirapuera Park (also known as Parque Ibirapuera in Portuguese). Ibirapuera Park is São Paulo’s equivalent of New York’s Central Park. The park is a lush, nature sanctuary in the middle of the city.
