Morumbi
Morumbi, meaning Green Hills, is not only one of the richest and most developed areas in São Paulo but also one of the greenest! The neighborhood‘s two main parks, Alfredo Volpi and Burle Marx, provide an ample green space of over 280,000 square meters. Additionally, Morumbi is known as a more family-oriented area for its quieter side with much less nightlife than Itaim Bibi or Vila Olímpia. Most of the region‘s commerce is located along Av. Giovanni Gronchi, which also has the American Graded School. The area is also packed with interesting sites such as the stately Palácio dos Bandeirantes (São Paulo's government headquarters and home to the governor himself), the Cidade Jardim race course, head office of São Paulo soccer club, and of course the luxurious Cidade Jardim shopping mall.
