The Lowdown
Only a few years ago, Jose Ignacio was a simple fishing village. Today it gushes with boho chic and fills up with folk in-the-know from around the globe. The vibe is laid back even when during the packed high-season, and offers the opportunity for serious people watching at the famous La Huella restaurant as well as the option of heading down the beach for a more relaxing afternoon. There are some fantastic houses in the village and its surrounding areas, with architecture that is internationally acclaimed. Note: with only a couple of taxis in the area it is important to rent a car to be able to move freely.
