Oasis Returns to the Big Apple

It was a great pleasure to see so many Oasis friends, owners, past and future guests at Novecento in New York on Wednesday 1^st September.  The Argentine restaurant in New York’s Soho was where the first Oasis event in New York was held almost three years ago now and it was super to share more news about the continuing growth of Oasis.

The buzz was all about people planning their trips for the end of this year with Cartagena, Floripa and Punta del Este being the top three Oasis destinations being chatted about.  From the days when Oasis was a mere handful of properties in Buenos Aires, we now work with over 250 incomparable properties in the most exciting South American destinations and there are more plans brewing happily as I write this.

Being in New York it was entertaining to see how much Latin American culture continues to pop-up with more empanada shops and even Mate cafes lining the streets.  This week is Fashion Week in New York and we are thrilled for our friends at Black Book who are hosting a Pop-up space featuring the increasingly popular Mate.  Not a word to anyone but there is mention of some funky Blackbook events being plotted for later this year in Buenos Aires… Keep a lookout at www.oasiscollections.com
