Claudio Edinger

Have you ever picked up a magazine or newspaper because you were captivated by the image of the front page or the picture of the article? Claudio Edinger, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, became famous for exactly these type of photographs, which have appeared in major magazines around the world. Stern, The New York Times, London Sunday Times, Vanity Fair, Frankfurter Allgemeine, Newsweek and various travel magazines have published Edingers photos. Additionally, his work has been shown at the ICP New York, The Pompidou Center in France and the Photographer’s Gallery in England to name a few.

Edinger’s art is also present in many private Brazilian photography collections. His most recent exhibit, titled “Sao Paulo Ambigous.” showcases color photographs around the city of Sao Paulo. See some of his photos below, or check out his website for the ultimate visual stimulus.
