Enjoy the Bogotá Art Scene at Feria Internacional De Arte de Bogotá

 
In Bogotá there is an exciting cultural extravaganza taking place over the next few days at the Cofereria Fairground. The Feria Internacional De Arte de Bogotá exhibits grand collections of Colombian and Latin American art combined with work from the international contemporary art scene. It still retains a medium-sized feel, even with 150,000 attendants, 140 galleries present, 1300 artists – 280 of which are young artists.
 
There is a variety of contemporary art to be observed at the fair with a general section, new galleries and project rooms. We recommend Ignacio Liprandi at Stand 103 which will exhibit a range of contemporary art from three different artists:  
 
1. Adriana Bustos
  

  
Hailing from Buenos Aires she now lives and works in Córdoba. She is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts Figueroa Alcorta and has studied painting with Maria Schwartz. Her work features bold colors and effectively depicts beautiful scenery with a single animal or person.
 
2. Magdalena Jitrick
  

  
Also from Buenos Aires, Magdalena has exhibited a slew of contemporary art in the National Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art in her home town.
 
3. Jose Alejandro Restrepo
  

  
Restrepo studied in both Colombia and Paris and his work has been shown in Colombia as well as internationally. He is known for creatively marrying traditional religious iconography with photos of modern life
