  • What is Oasis?

    "Oasis is “Home Meets Hotel,” the next generation of accommodations. We combine the consistency, service and amenities of a great hotel with the authenticity, value and space of staying in a private home.


    We have a curated collection of 1,500+ homes in 13 countries, with local Guest Experience specialists in every city to greet guests, solve any issues that may arise, and give insider knowledge on where to eat, explore and escape."

  • How do you select your homes?

    It’s not easy for a home to make it to the Oasis website. Only the best homes that meet our exacting standards are chosen. Our team carefully selects homes that are clean, comfortable, and are located in top neighborhoods. When you book with Oasis, you get the entire place to yourself—not just a private room. Every home must be have kitchen essentials, a bathroom and WiFi. Plus, our homes don’t have any personal items. They are clutter-free, organized and clean. You’ll feel like your living in your own space, not someone else's.

  • What destinations do you operate in?

    We’re in 23 cities across Latin America, the US and Europe, including favorites like Austin, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Mexico City, Miami, Paris, Rio and Rome.

  • What is a Guest Experience Specialist?

    Think of them as a local expert who there’s to make sure your stay goes smoothly. From check-in to check-out, they’re just a text or call away and ready to help with whatever you need. They can help you arrange transportation, provide local recommendations and answer any questions you may have about your home.

  • Is Oasis safe?

    Safety is one of our top priorities. We carefully vet each and every one of our homes in person. We only pick homes in the best neighborhoods that are loved by locals. And, when you stay with us, you’ll never be dealing with a stranger. A local Oasis team member will be available 24/7 to help with anything you may need.

Amenities

  • What hotel-like amenities does Oasis offer?

    "With Oasis, you get the get comfort of home with the consistency and service of a hotel.


    We professionally service all of our homes so you can always count on them being tidy and clean. The bed will always be made with fresh linens and there will be clean towels waiting for you when you arrive. We have those little shampoo bottles you love, too. Oh, and our WiFi is free.


    During your stay, you’ll have access to a Guest Experience Specialist. They are local experts who are available 24/7 by text or call to answer questions about your home or your neighborhood."

  • Do you have housekeeping?

    We professionally clean our homes before you arrive and after you check out. Additional cleaning can also be purchased as an upgrade, just ask our Guest Experience team.

  • Do you offer Upgrades?

    Yes! We can arrange airport transfers and daily housekeeping. We can also pick up your favorite foods and drinks before you arrive. Reach out to our Guest Experience team for more information.

  • Are your homes pet-friendly?

    We love hosting pets. Our reservation specialist are happy to recommend pet-friendly homes. Shoot us a message at reservations@oasiscollections.com.

  • Do you offer accommodations for business travelers?

  • Are you like Airbnb?

    We offer home rentals across the world. However, unlike other competitors, we handpick all of our homes ourselves to ensure high quality standards. We also add luxury hotel amenities including 24/7 access to an on-the ground destination specialist, service, linens, towels, toiletries and more.

Booking A Home

  • How do I know it’s safe to book with Oasis?

    Unlike other websites, when you book a home with Oasis, you’ll never be dealing with a stranger or homeowner—only with Oasis team members. Plus, our secure, encrypted platform keeps your payment and personal information safe.

  • What is the minimum night stay at an Oasis home?

    Our homes generally have a 5-night minimum stay. However, this varies by destination based on local laws and regulations.

  • Why do some homes have a longer minimum night stay?

    We’re committed to complying with local regulations. Some cities have zoning or administrative codes that prohibit short stays in homes.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and Amex.

  • What currencies can I pay in?

    The currency varies by destination. Bookings will be completed with the displayed price and currency.

  • When do I pay for the reservation?

    Payment is due at the time of booking, but is fully refundable up until 15 nights prior to arrival. For stays of more than 30 days, payment may be divided into 1-month increments. 

  • Do you offer any special discounts?

    The best way to stay up to date on the latest offers and discounts is to sign up for our newsletter.

  • How do I redeem a promo code?

    For Instant Book homes, enter your promo code at check-out. If you’re inquiring about a home that isn't Instant Book, let your reservation specialist know you’d like to use a promo code.

  • How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

    You will receive a confirmation email upon booking. The email will include your check-in date, check-out date, home address and additional information.

  • Can I have the address of the home?

    Our reservation specialists are happy to provide you with the nearest intersection. Due to our privacy policy, we can only share the exact home address after your reservation is confirmed.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Our standard check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out is at 11 a.m. An earlier check-in and later check-out can be arranged depending on availability. 

  • What should I do if something is missing or not as expected when I check in?

    We want your stay to be perfect. If something isn’t right, reach out to our Guest Experience team, whose contact you will be provided once you book.

Cancellations

  • How do I modify or cancel my reservation?

  • What is the Oasis cancellation policy?

    Our policies vary by booking channel, but for direct bookings via our website, bookings are fully refundable with 15 days notice. Within 15 days, the booking is non-refundable up to the first 30 days of stay (and fully refundable for any portion of the booking beyond 30 nights). 

Homeowners

  • Why should I list my home with Oasis?

  • How do I submit my home for review?

    If you’re interested in listing your home with Oasis, fill out this form. One of our Owner Relations Specialists will review your application and be in touch shortly.

  • When can I expect to hear back about my submission?

    After you've submitted an application, you should hear back from one of our Owner Relations Specialists within a couple of days. If your home fits our needs, we’ll arrange a visit to ensure it’s in line with our standards.
  • What are your requirements for home submission?

    We seek homes that meet the high standards of our guests. In order for a home to be listed with Oasis, it must be clean, clutter-free, thoughtfully designed and well-maintained. Homes should also have fast WiFi, comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchens. These are just a few of the things we look for. To find out if your home would be a good fit, fill out this form.

The Oasis Passport

  • How do I sign up?

    To subscribe to the Passport, fill out the information request form on this page, or email us at reservations@oasiscollections.com. We’ll answer any questions you have, and send you a payment link for the initial, 1-time, non-refundable Membership Fee of $295.

  • Which destinations are part of the Passport subscription?

    Currently Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Rome in Europe; Bogota, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Panama, Rio, Santiago and Sao Paulo in Latin America; Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami and Nashville in the US. More exciting destinations coming soon!
  • How do I know which homes are part of the Passport program?

    Currently you can choose between approximately 400 homes, across the 17 participating destinations - view available homes here.


    All homes have been thoughtfully selected, thoroughly vetted, and are serviced by Oasis’ on-the-ground teams.

  • What is the minimum stay in each property?

    1 month. You can start a stay on any day of the month (it doesn’t have to be the 1st of the month), but stays are measured in 1 month (30 night) increments). If you’re unable to complete a given stay, you will still be charged for the full month.
  • Is there a maximum stay in each property?

    No, you can book an unlimited numbers of months in each property.
  • What’s the cancellation policy?

    The cancellation policy for a given booking is that you may cancel up until 7 days prior to scheduled arrival with no penalty. Cancellation within 7 days will incur a penalty of 15 nights (50% of 1 month’s subscription fee).

    If you wish to cancel your Passport subscription altogether, you may do so at any time. The only cost will be the loss of your $295 Membership fee.
  • How far in advance do I need to book each stay?

    There is no advance notice requirement. However, note that the further in advance you book, the more availability we’ll have.
  • Do I need to book all of the stays at once?

    No, you can book as little as 1 month at a time, and can book as few or as many months as you wish, during the 12-month membership.
  • Do I have to commit to a certain property size or Tier for the full duration of the subscription?

    No. You can mix and match property sizes and Tiers anyway you wish, and will be charged the corresponding rate for each stay. For example, you could choose a 1-bedroom home for the first month, and then move to a 2-bedroom for the second month. And you could choose a Tier 1 city (for example Buenos Aires) for the first month, then a Tier 3 city (for example Miami) for the second month, and so on.
  • I’m not familiar with Oasis Collections. How can I trust you?

    We’ve been around since 2009, and created the “Home Meets Hotel” concept, as the first alternative accommodations company to implement hospitality brand standards on a global scale. You can learn more about our concept here and read about us in the press here.
